  • Account and Profile Information: When you create an account, we collect personal information. This includes: Your Full Name, Email Address, and authentication data via Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In.
  • Educational Information: To personalize your learning experience, we collect: Your Grade Level, Exam Goal, Academic Track, and chosen YDT Language (if applicable).
  • User-Generated Content: We store data you create, including your study plans, scheduled daily activities, practice exam details, exam results, and topic completion progress.
  • Solved Questions: When you submit a question, we store the image of the question and the AI-generated solution text in your log of solved questions.

B. Information Collected Automatically

  • Subscription Information: We use RevenueCat to manage subscriptions. We collect data from our subscription records, including your Subscription Status, Product ID, subscription dates (such as expiration and purchase dates), and the Store (App Store or Play Store).
  • We do not collect, store, or process your payment information or credit card details. All payments are handled securely by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
  • Usage and Device Data: Our backend provider (Supabase) may automatically collect standard log information (IP address, device type, OS version, timestamps) for security, analytics, and debugging.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected data for the following purposes:

  • To Provide and Maintain Our Service: To create your account, provide personalized study plans, track your progress, and log solved questions.
  • To Provide AI-Powered Features:
    • We send the image of your question to our AI service provider (Google Gemini) to analyze it and generate a solution text.
    • We use your exam goal, grade, and academic track to generate personalized weekly study plans.
  • To Manage Your Subscription: To verify your purchase with RevenueCat, unlock premium features, and manage your subscription status.
  • To Communicate With You: To send you emails or push notifications related to your account, study reminders, or service updates.
  • To Improve Our Application: To analyze usage patterns, diagnose technical issues, and improve functionality.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We only share your information with the following third-party service providers essential for operating our Application:

  • Supabase (Database & Backend): Our all-in-one backend provider. All your data is securely stored on Supabase servers.
  • Google (Gemini AI): Our AI provider. When you submit a question, the image is sent to Google's AI platform for processing.
  • RevenueCat (Subscription Management): We share a unique user ID and purchase receipts with RevenueCat to validate and manage your subscription status.
  • Apple App Store & Google Play Store: We interact with their payment APIs to process and confirm your subscription purchases.

We may also disclose your information if required by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court or a government agency).

5. Data Security

We use industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your data. All data transmission is encrypted using SSL/TLS. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active. You have the right to delete your account at any time.

Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully. These Terms govern your use of the BanaSor mobile application (the "Application" or "Service").

By downloading, accessing, or using the Application, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and our referenced Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Application.

1. Description of Service

BanaSor is an educational platform designed for students. Our services include:

  • Providing solutions, generated by artificial intelligence (Google Gemini), for questions submitted by users (as images).
  • Creating personalized weekly study plans based on information provided by users, such as their exam goals, grade level, and academic track.
  • Tools for users to track their practice exam results and topic completion progress.

2. User Accounts

  • Account Creation: To use certain features of our Service, you must create an account using your Apple or Google ID.
  • Accuracy of Information: You agree that the information provided for your account and for creating personalized plans (grade level, exam goal, etc.) is accurate, current, and complete.
  • Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
  • Age Limit: Our Service is directed to users aged 13 and older. If you are under 13, you may only use the Application with the consent and supervision of a parent or guardian.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

Our Application may offer automatically renewing subscriptions for access to certain features ("Premium Features").

  • Payment Processors: All subscription payments and transactions are processed directly through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store ("Stores"). BanaSor does not collect, store, or process your payment information or credit card details.
  • Automatic Renewal: Your subscription will automatically renew unless it is canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period. The renewal fee will be charged to your Store account within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
  • Subscription Management and Cancellation: You can manage your subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal by going directly to your Store (App Store or Google Play Store) account settings after purchase.
  • Fees: We reserve the right to change subscription fees. Any price changes will take effect after the end of your current subscription period.

4. User-Generated Content

  • Content Ownership: The question images you upload, exam results you enter, and plans you create ("User Content") belong to you.
  • License Grant to BanaSor: By uploading User Content, you grant BanaSor a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use this content solely for the purpose of providing, maintaining, and improving the Service (e.g., sending a question image to an AI provider for processing).
  • Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the User Content you upload and ensuring it does not infringe on any copyright or third-party rights.

5. Use of Artificial Intelligence and Disclaimer

Our application uses third-party AI models, such as Google Gemini, to generate solutions and study plans.

  • No Academic Guarantee: Solutions and recommendations generated by AI are for educational and guidance purposes only. We provide no guarantee as to the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of these solutions.
  • Margin of Error: AI systems may contain errors or inaccuracies. You are advised to always verify the information provided and use it only as a study aid.
  • Liability: BanaSor cannot be held responsible for any academic outcomes, errors, or damages resulting from your reliance on the information provided by the AI.

6. Acceptable Use

By using the Application, you agree not to:

  • Violate any laws or regulations.
  • Upload harmful, deceptive, threatening, or harassing content.
  • Attempt to breach the Service's security, reverse-engineer, or attempt to extract the source code.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts.
  • Use the Service for any purpose other than its intended purpose (e.g., for commercial use).

7. Intellectual Property

Other than your User Content, all rights to the Application itself, including its interface, brand, logos, features, and functionality ("BanaSor Property"), are owned by BanaSor and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

8. Termination

  • By User: You may terminate your membership at any time by contacting us at banasor.development@gmail.com to delete your account.
  • By BanaSor: We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account for any reason or no reason, including if you violate these Terms.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED TO YOU "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." BANASOR MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR MEET ALL OF YOUR REQUIREMENTS.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BANASOR (OR ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES) SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES (INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFIT, OR ACADEMIC FAILURE) ARISING FROM YOUR USE OR INABILITY TO USE THE APPLICATION.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will revise the "Last Updated" date on this page and/or notify you within the Application. Your continued use of the Application after the changes take effect signifies your acceptance of the updated Terms.
